is in search of an energetic professional to fill the vacancy of Pipeline Engineer at our office in Farmington, NM.
The Pipeline Engineer
will be responsible for engineering oversight of all pipeline related work products (calculations, design, specifications, etc). Must provide system capacity and optimization analyses for oil and gas pipeline systems, develop cost effective conceptual designs for both proposed and existing pipeline facilities, will assist in the development and implementation of organizational processes and procedures, coordinate oil and gas pipeline design and development with other design disciplines, check design compliance and assure compliance with applicable codes, standards and client specifications, provide cost estimates for project bids and RFQs, assure all deliverables meet appropriate design/construction standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the operation of oil and gas pipelines and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related field. Must have knowledge of gas transmission pipeline engineering, Geographic Information System, Field experience in troubleshooting facilities and overseeing construction. Ability to interpret and apply DOT compliance requirements, Experience in developing and administering contracts and specifications, multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time, On-site construction, Operations and Maintenance Experience.
